I joined the Red Star Pilots Association. I believe it was the best money I could have spent. The group gave me access to a number of CJ-6 owners in my area. I got in contact with a few. All very generous people. Two offered to bring their planes to the airport near me.
Byron and John dropped by the University Airport at Davis, CA.
They even offered to take the my wife and I for a quick flight
My wife got a big kick out of the airplane and the formation flying. It really solidified our resolve to buy a plane.
